Student Etiquette
Student teacher relationships are formed through dedication and repetitious attendance over time. It is not formed on the first lesson.
1. Turn off mobile phones
2. Refrain from talking
3. Arrive 5 minutes early
4. If late: A. Remove your shoes before entering class (Quiet: Do not stomp through the class) B. Kneel by the door and wait to be seated if it is a full class C. In a packed class you are unlikely to be fitted in if salutation has begun
5. Remain in class till you are dismissed
6. If you need to leave early clear it with the teacher before class begins A. If cleared you will be seated next to the door B. Wait till I dismiss you. Raise your hand if I forget C. The mat, unless it is yours, is to be left where it is (Do not roll it up and put it away) D. Grab everything and leave in an efficient inconspicuous manner E. I will hold the door for you and close it behind you F. Put on any shoes and adjust any clothing outside the class (Being Inconspicuous)
7. If it becomes too challenging then stop and rest until you are ready to resume.
8. Do not leave your glasses or any valuables between the rows. I might step on it.
